PTO Officer Elections for 2004-2005

Candidates for next year's open officer positions are: Antonia Nedder-Co-President, David Burke-Treasurer, Laura Reilly-Secretary (2 years) and Andrea Grealish-Secretary (1 Year). If anyone else is interested in an officer's position, please contact one of the current officers by Friday, April 16. Elections for any contested positions will take place at the PTO meeting on May 3. We thank all of the people who have expressed an interest.

Due to the overwhelming demand, we are pleased to present a special spring session of Fun & Games with Mr. Foley! Forms are due back by Tuesday, March 16. Any overenrolled sessions will be handled by lottery, with preference given to children on the waiting list from previous sessions.

School Logo Update
Martha Jones has been working this year on making a permanent logo. This logo will represent our school as a community. Jessica Briggs is a parent and graphic designer who has been helping us out. She will put the logo we chose onto a computer, t-shirts and stationery, etc. Ms. Briggs suggested that we chose 5 words that best describe our school. We had each class vote for their favorite words and then Student Council tallied them up. K-1 voted as a class. In grades 2-5, each student voted. Out of 16 words, these were the five winners: Safe, Creative, Kind, Enthusiastic, and Hardworking. These words were sent to Jessica Briggs. We will have another meeting with her soon and then tell you the next steps. Thank you to everyone for voting and participating!
